Position Overview:

The Primary Care Business Director for the Wisconsin Market is responsible for ensuring the operational and financial success of Bluestone’s Integrated Geriatric Primary Care model that provides in home medical and social services to individuals experiencing dementia.  To accomplish this objective the Primary Care Business Director will collaborate with and integrate the activities of our sales and marketing, provider operations, and clinical support organizations to ensure the strategic and tactical alignment of resources across those functions.

Schedule: Full time position. Up to 25% local travel is required for this position within the Wisconsin Market. The remaining time is spent working remote (work from home). 

Territory: Wisconsin Market

Salary: $110,000 - $140,000. Base salary will be commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

  1. Define and Manage the Profit and Loss Statement of Bluestone’s Primary Care Operations in the Wisconsin Market
    1. In conjunction with Finance, Provider Operations and Sales and Marketing prepares annual and quarterly forecasts and budgets and communicates this information to the organization
    2. Monitors and makes appropriate recommendations to the Sales and Marketing, Provider Operations, and Clinical Support Organizations on a monthly basis to improve operational and financial performance
    3. Ensure agreed upon recommendations are successfully implemented and coordinated across the organization
       
  2. Facilitates communication, activities and operational processes across the Sales and Marketing, Provider Operations, and Clinical Support organizations
     
  3. Runs the new customer acquisition evaluation process and determines the attractiveness of new customers as well as the growth opportunities within existing customer base.
  4. Development of marketing strategy and the communications necessary to implement the messaging in the field.
  5. Monitoring of individual provider and salesperson performance indicators
    1. Provides reporting and guidance to the organization to ensure the attainment of revenue and quality goals
    2. Manage provider and market metrics through effective scheduling of provider resources.
  6. Coverage and Provider Resourcing
    1. Management of overall coverage plans, including float provider calendar
    2. In working with Human Resources, ensures that Provider Agreements are up-to-date based upon changes occurring in the practice, location, or status

Qualifications:

Education/Certification/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, health care administration or RN/clinician with background and experience in clinic operations and/or care delivery
  • Five (5) or more years of progressive experience in management roles
  • Customer service and Quality related positions a plus
  • Experience in a healthcare organization required
  • Knowledge and experience with Assisted Living and Memory Care communities a plus
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and minimum state required liability auto insurance.
  • Up to 25% local travel is required for this position within prescribed market.
